    The Yllera Coelus Rioja (most commonly encountered as the Coelus Joven) is a highly vibrant, fruit-forward red wine crafted by the Yllera family in collaboration with oenologist Ramón Martínez. Unlike heavily oak-aged traditional Riojas, this 100% Tempranillo is vinified using carbonic maceration—a winemaking method that preserves raw freshness and creates an incredibly smooth, easy-drinking profile.
    Tasting Notes Breakdown
    • Aroma: The nose is highly aromatic, fragrant, and expressive. It bursts with intense notes of fresh raspberry, strawberry, and blueberry, backed by a distinct, exotic floral touch of violets. 
    • Palate: On the palate, it is exceptionally juicy and smooth with zero rough edges. Red forest fruits dominate, accompanied by subtle nuances of black licorice and a hint of dusty, stony earth.
    • Structure: It features a bright, fresh acidity and a light-to-medium body. The tannins are incredibly soft and velvety, making the wine feel effortlessly balanced and refreshing.
