The 2020 Vega Sicilia Valbuena 5 is a refined Spanish red wine from Ribera del Duero. It is 97% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) and 3% Merlot. The "5" stands for five years of aging in oak barrels and bottles. It is an elegant, medium-bodied wine with flavors of dark fruit, cedar, and minerals.
Aroma: Deep and complex. You will smell dark fruits like blackcurrant and blueberry, mixed with cedar wood, balsamic, and floral notes.
Palate: The wine feels like velvet in your mouth. It shows ripe dark fruit, baking spices (like cinnamon), and a refreshing, citrus-like kick to balance it.
