Argentiera is the flagship wine of Tenuta Argentiera, produced from the estate’s finest vineyards in the hills of Bolgheri overlooking the Tuscan coast. A Bordeaux-inspired blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, it combines the depth and polish associated with Bolgheri with notable freshness, precision and mineral character. 

The outstanding 2021 vintage is rich and concentrated yet remarkably energetic. Aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant and raspberry are layered with violet, lavender, Mediterranean herbs, tobacco and subtle spice. The palate is full and beautifully structured, with dark and blue fruit, fine-grained tannins and a savory, mineral edge carrying through a long, persistent finish. Despite its concentration, there is an impressive sense of freshness and restraint.

The 2021 has received exceptional critical acclaim, including 97 points from James Suckling, 97 points from Falstaff, 95+ points from Wine Advocate, 95 points from Jeb Dunnuck, and 94 points from both Vinous and Decanter. Critics consistently highlight the wine's combination of power, freshness and finely structured tannins.
