The 2022 Pahlmeyer Napa Valley Chardonnay is a sumptuous and captivating white wine, meticulously crafted by acclaimed winemaker Katie Vogt. With a refined alcohol content of 14.4%, this elegant expression showcases a harmonious balance of opulence and vibrant energy. Hand-selected grapes from high-elevation Napa Valley vineyards and premium Carneros blocks were individually sorted and pressed before undergoing separate aging, creating layers of complexity and depth. After careful racking and blending, the wine was returned to barrel for final maturation, developing its distinctive character. Bottled in August 2023 and released in March 2024, this distinguished Chardonnay exemplifies Pahlmeyer's commitment to excellence and winemaking artistry.

Aromas: Ripe white peach, grilled pineapple, butterscotch, vanilla bean, poached pears, toasted baguette, and a hint of flinty minerality.
Palate: Concentrated and creamy with a silky texture, featuring layers of crushed Marcona almonds, freshly baked macaroon, spiced baked apple, and preserved lemon.
Finish: Long and expansive, balanced by dynamic, crisp acidity that keeps the opulent fruit focused.
