    The Lucia Estate Cuvée Pinot Noir offers a wonderfully accessible introduction to the Pisoni family's exceptional vineyards in the Santa Lucia Highlands. Rather than purchased fruit, the 2022 is drawn entirely from three of the family's celebrated estate sites: 70% Pisoni Vineyard, 16% Soberanes Vineyard and 14% Garys' Vineyard.

    The cool, windswept conditions of the Santa Lucia Highlands give this generously fruited Pinot Noir plenty of freshness and energy. Aromas of crushed strawberry, ripe cherry, spiced plum and darker berries lead into a rich, silky palate layered with red and black fruit, black tea, warm spice and a subtle touch of vanilla. Fine tannins and vibrant acidity keep everything beautifully balanced through a long, fragrant finish.

    The fruit is hand-harvested and sorted, fermented with native yeasts, and aged for 11 months in French oak. The result captures the signature richness of Pisoni while retaining the freshness and structure that make the Santa Lucia Highlands such a compelling place for Pinot Noir.
