    The 2025 La Raia 'Pleo' Gavi DOCG is a vibrant, biodynamic white wine made from 100% Cortese grapes in Piedmont, Italy. True to its terroir, it offers a clean, crisp, and highly expressive profile balancing bright orchard fruit with intense saline minerality.
    Aroma

    • Primary: Fresh orchard fruits like sliced peaches and green apples, complemented by prominent lemon peel and lime zest.
    • Secondary: Highly aromatic herbal and floral layers, featuring notes of crushed chamomile, fresh mountain herbs, and delicate white flowers.
    • Minerality: A distinct, savory backdrop of wet river stone, sea salt, and a striking saline tension. 
    Palate & Mouthfeel

    • Structure: Medium-bodied with an electric, laser-focused acidity that shapes the mid-palate.
    • Texture: Thanks to three to six months of aging on fine lees in stainless steel with regular lees stirring (bâtonnage), the wine carries a surprisingly round and creamy texture that balances its sharp verve.
    • Flavors: Crisp Anjou pear, unripe white peach, and bright citrus crunch crackle across the tongue. 
    Finish

    • The wine signs off with a classic Gavi hallmark: a persistent, bright finish driven by hints of baked and bitter almonds alongside a lingering mineral echo.
