One of the rarest and most distinctive single-vineyard Champagnes from the celebrated Georges Laval estate, Les Hautes Chèvres is a remarkable expression of the Premier Cru village of Cumières in the Vallée de la Marne. Produced by Vincent Laval from organically farmed vineyards on the village's clay-limestone slopes, this extraordinary Champagne combines profound concentration, precision, and an unmistakable sense of place.

The 2021 vintage is especially unusual. Historically produced as a Blanc de Noirs, Les Hautes Chèvres incorporates Chardonnay alongside Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier for the first time, with the three varieties co-fermented. Exceptionally challenging growing conditions reduced yields to just 2,000 kilograms from approximately 1.1 hectares, resulting in a production of only 1,776 bottles worldwide.

Fermented with indigenous yeasts in oak barrels and bottled without dosage, this is Champagne in its purest, most uncompromising form. Aromas of ripe plum, red cherry, orchard fruit, toasted hazelnuts, dried flowers, and delicate spice unfold with remarkable complexity. The palate is concentrated yet energetic, revealing layers of red fruit, savory minerality, and an intensely saline finish. Despite the difficulties of the 2021 growing season, Laval has produced a wine of exceptional harmony, finesse, and character.
