The 2021 vintage of Elizabeth Spencer’s Grenache is made with meticulous attention to purity of fruit and clean expression. Hand-harvested grapes undergo fermentation in stainless steel and neutral oak, with separate lots aged for approximately 10 months in neutral French oak before blending. The final wine is bottled without heavy intervention to preserve its vibrancy and freshness. The alcohol content is listed at 14.5% for this vintage.

In the glass the wine shows a rich ruby hue, signalling depth yet retaining brightness. The nose opens with aromas of fresh raspberries, wild strawberry, and a hint of orange peel, underpinned by subtle cedar and spice. On the palate the profile is lively and medium-bodied: red cherry and black cherry fruit are supported by well-integrated acidity, chalky tannins and a gently savoury under-note of white pepper and earth.
