The 2023 Jermann 'Vintage Tunina' Venezia Giulia IGT is an iconic, benchmark white blend from Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy. A blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia Istriana, and Picolit, it features intense aromas of candied citrus, white peach, and wildflowers. The palate is creamy, full-bodied, and highly structured with lively minerality and a long, nutty finish.
Tasting Notes: Displays lively, energetic freshness on the nose with layered complexity of candied citrus, white peach, honeydew melon, dried herbs, and flinty minerality. The palate is dry, medium-to-full bodied, and exceptionally persistent, showing savory hints of walnut and delicate citrus.
Grape Varieties: Predominantly Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, rounded out by indigenous Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia Istriana, and a touch of Picolit.
Soil & Terroir: Sourced from 31-year-old vines rooted in classic Eocene marl and sandstone (flysch) of the Ronco del Fortino vineyard in Friuli.
