Grape Variety: 100% Cabernet Franc

Certification: Certified Organic (since 2007) and Biodynamic (since 2018) 

Aroma: An intense and lively nose featuring fresh red summer fruits like crunchy raspberries, redcurrants, and dark cherry. 

Palate: The wine is light to medium-bodied, supple, and thirst-quenching. It delivers bright red fruit flavors, crisp acidity, and fine, soft tannins.

The Vineyard: "Les Rouillères" is the very first plot planted by Frédéric and Nathalie Mabileau in the 1980s. The vines grow on terraces made of ancient Loire River sand and gravel. The name translates to "the rusty ones," referring to the iron-rich, reddish soils.

Harvesting: Grapes are 100% hand-harvested with strict selection and zero insecticides used. 

Vinification: The grapes are destemmed and undergo a gentle "infusion" extraction. The wine ferments using wild, indigenous yeasts. It is then aged for 8 months in vats and bottled with very low sulfites (30 mg/L). It is also 100% vegan-friendly.
