The 2020 Podere Sanlorenzo Brunello di Montalcino is a certified biodynamic, 100% Sangiovese wine crafted in southwestern Montalcino. It yields a bright ruby color, floral aromas, ripe red cherries, and sweet tobacco. Aged for two years in 30-hectolitre casks, this 14% ABV wine delivers a structured, full-bodied palate with crisp acidity and a long, seamless finish.
Palate: Full-bodied yet open-knit and elegant. It features a fleshy, viscous mouthfeel with crisp medium+ acidity, silky/velvety tannins, and layers of black fruit, licorice, and earth.
Aroma: A perfumed and heady bouquet featuring raspberries, dark red cherries, crushed minerals, sweet tobacco, and dried violets.
Color: Bright, clear ruby red that gracefully deepens into garnet over time.
Aging Process: After vinification in steel, the wine rests in large 30-hectolitre oak casks for two years, followed by further refinement in steel and at least 4 months in the bottle prior to release
Viticulture: Organically farmed since 2012, with a severe manual selection of bunches in August and September to ensure only the highest quality fruit.
