    Sourced from select Premier Cru parcels in Saint-Aubin, this wine reflects the appellation’s hallmark limestone-rich soils and elevated vineyard sites. These conditions foster excellent drainage and impart a distinctive mineral backbone.

    The 2023 vintage benefits from balanced ripening conditions, with sufficient warmth to achieve concentration while preserving the vibrant acidity that defines the region. The result is a wine of both energy and depth.

    Winemaking & Technical Notes
    Produced from 100% Chardonnay, the grapes are hand-harvested and gently pressed. Fermentation occurs with indigenous yeasts in French oak barrels, followed by extended aging on the lees to enhance texture and complexity.

    Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey is known for his restrained use of new oak, allowing the wine’s terroir to take center stage. The wine typically undergoes 12–18 months of élevage, with minimal intervention and little to no fining or filtration.

    Pale gold in the glass, the 2023 “Hommage Marguerite” opens with an elegant aromatic profile of citrus zest, white peach, and green apple, layered with notes of white flowers, crushed stone, and a subtle hint of hazelnut.

    On the palate, it is taut and finely structured, with vibrant acidity and a silky texture. Flavors of lemon curd, pear, and mineral salinity unfold with precision, leading to a long, чист, and persistent finish marked by freshness and finesse.
