Terroir
Sourced from the prized Genevrières climat in Meursault, this Premier Cru Chardonnay comes from one of the Côte de Beaune’s most revered sites. The vineyard’s classic clay-limestone soils, interspersed with fine gravel, provide both structure and pronounced minerality. Warm, sunlit exposures allow for full ripening, while the region’s natural freshness preserves balance, yielding a wine that combines richness with precision.Winemaking & Technical Notes
Produced from 100% Chardonnay, the fruit is hand-harvested and vinified with a traditional Burgundian approach. Fermentation is followed by élevage on fine lees in French oak barrels, with a restrained use of new oak to enhance texture without overwhelming the wine’s purity. Lees aging adds depth and complexity, resulting in a wine that balances richness, structure, and terroir transparency.Tasting Notes
Elegant and layered, the 2022 opens with aromas of citrus, white flowers, and ripe orchard fruit, complemented by notes of toasted hazelnut and a subtle buttery nuance. The palate is refined yet expressive, with a creamy texture balanced by vibrant acidity and a distinct mineral core. Flavors of lemon, pear, and light spice carry through to a long, polished finish marked by both richness and lift.Food Pairing & Service
This Premier Cru Meursault pairs beautifully with lobster, scallops, and rich seafood dishes, as well as roasted chicken and creamy sauces. It also complements soft-ripened cheeses and refined vegetable dishes. Serve lightly chilled, and consider a brief decant to allow its aromatics and texture to fully develop.Cellaring Potential
Built for aging, this wine will evolve gracefully over the next 10–15+ years. With time, its fresh citrus and orchard fruit will deepen into more complex notes of honey, toasted nuts, and savory richness while maintaining its mineral backbone and structure. Name:
