    Terroir
Sourced from the foothills of the French Alps in Savoie, this Apremont comes from steep, well-exposed hillside vineyards at the base of Mont Granier. The soils are dominated by stony clay-limestone and glacial scree, shaped by ancient landslides that define much of the region’s viticultural identity. The cool alpine climate, marked by significant diurnal shifts, preserves natural acidity and drives the wine’s signature freshness and precision. The Jacquère grape thrives here, producing some of the most transparent expressions of mountain terroir in France.

    Winemaking & Technical Notes
Made from 100% Jacquère, the wine is fermented and aged entirely in stainless steel to preserve purity and lift. Fermentation is conducted at controlled temperatures, with no oak influence and no malolactic fermentation, ensuring a crisp, linear profile. The approach is intentionally reductive and minimalist, emphasizing clarity of fruit and the stony, mineral-driven character of Savoie.

    Tasting Notes
Pale straw in the glass, the 2025 opens with delicate aromas of green apple, citrus blossom, pear skin, and wet stone. The palate is bone-dry and extremely refreshing, showing laser-like acidity and a light, featherweight texture. Flavors of lemon peel, crisp orchard fruit, and subtle alpine herbs are carried by a pronounced mineral core. The finish is clean, saline, and mouthwatering, with a distinctive mountain-fresh character that defines classic Apremont.

    Food Pairing & Service
A natural match for alpine and coastal cuisine, this wine excels with fondue, raclette, fresh goat cheese, and simply prepared seafood. It also works beautifully with light poultry dishes and fresh salads. Serve well chilled to highlight its crystalline acidity and refreshing profile.

    Cellaring Potential
Best enjoyed young and vibrant over the next 2–4 years, this wine is built for immediacy rather than long-term aging. Its charm lies in its purity, tension, and alpine freshness, which gradually soften rather than evolve into secondary complexity.
