    Terroir
Sourced from vineyards across Mallorca, “Quíbia” reflects the island’s warm Mediterranean climate moderated by cooling sea breezes. The soils—primarily calcareous with sandy and clay components—provide excellent drainage while retaining enough moisture to support the vines through dry summers.

These conditions, combined with the resilience of native grape varieties, contribute to the wine’s freshness, salinity, and layered complexity.

    Winemaking & Technical Notes
“Quíbia” is typically composed of indigenous varieties such as Prensal Blanc (Moll) and Giró Ros, with occasional contributions from other local grapes depending on the vintage.

The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and fermented in a combination of stainless steel and neutral vessels to preserve freshness while adding texture. Lees contact is often employed to enhance mouthfeel and complexity, without masking the wine’s natural vibrancy.

    Tasting Notes
Pale straw in color with green highlights, the 2022 vintage opens with expressive aromas of citrus zest, green apple, and white peach, complemented by notes of wild herbs and a subtle saline edge.

On the palate, it is medium-bodied with a rounded yet fresh texture. Flavors of lemon, pear, and stone fruit are balanced by crisp acidity and a distinct mineral character, leading to a clean, refreshing finish with a hint of Mediterranean salinity.

    Food Pairing & Service
A versatile and food-friendly white, perfect with:

    • Fresh seafood and shellfish
    • Grilled fish and Mediterranean dishes
    • Salads and vegetable-forward cuisine
    • Soft cheeses and light appetizers

Serve well chilled at 45–50°F (7–10°C). No decanting required.

    Cellaring Potential
Best enjoyed for its freshness and aromatic vibrancy, the 2022 “Quíbia” is ideal for drinking within 2–4 years of the vintage. While short-term aging may add slight texture, its primary appeal lies in its lively and expressive profile.

Fresh, mineral, and uniquely Mallorcan, the 2022 “Quíbia” is a vibrant white wine that captures the spirit of the Mediterranean in every sip.
