Sourced from extremely old, low-yielding vineyards in Jumilla in southeastern Spain, El Nido reflects one of the region’s most intense and concentrated terroirs. The vineyards are planted on rocky, limestone-rich soils under a dry Mediterranean climate with hot days and cool nights. These harsh growing conditions naturally limit yields and produce fruit with extraordinary concentration, structure, and depth. Old-vine Monastrell thrives here, developing both power and surprising freshness.

Winemaking & Technical Notes
Produced from a blend dominated by old-vine Monastrell and Cabernet Sauvignon, El Nido is crafted with a focus on maximum concentration and age-worthiness. The fruit is hand-harvested from tiny yields, fermented in small vats, and aged extensively in new French oak barrels. Extraction and élevage are carefully managed to build richness and texture while preserving balance.
