    The NV Brut Nature Blanc de Blancs was exclusively picked in both the Blanc de Blancs and the Montage des Reims and spent at least eight years on lees. Lemon, oatmeal and smoke meet against a backdrop of chalk on the nose. The palate hits a serene soprano note of exquisite purity and lightness, always with that smokiness, exquisite tautness and beautifully fine foam made up of thousands of tiny bubbles that mollify this essentially pure and clean-cut wine.     Terroir
    This Blanc de Blancs is crafted entirely from Chardonnay grapes sourced from top Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims (including villages like Avize, Cramant, Chouilly, and Villers-Marmery). The soils in these zones are principally chalky limestone, lending the wines lifted minerality, brilliant freshness and distinctive terroir expression. The house of Laurent‑Perrier makes no dosage (i.e., zero added sugar after disgorgement) in this cuvée, enabling maximum purity and directness from the vineyard sites. 

    Winemaking & Technical Notes
    This is a 100% Chardonnay Champagne, and as a Brut Nature (zero dosage) it exemplifies the driest expression from this prestigious house. The base wine is drawn from excellent vintages. Aging is extended — at least eight years on the lees in some cases — to gain depth, complexity and a fine mousse. The house blocks malolactic fermentation to help retain tension and vivid freshness, and the minimal or no dosage underscores the tautness and purity of expression.

    Tasting Notes
    In the glass this Champagne shows a pale gold or straw-gold hue with fine persistent mousse. On the nose, you’ll find aromas of white flowers, green apple, lemon zest, brioche and chalky minerality. On the palate, the wine delivers razor-sharp acidity balanced by depth: flavours of lemon curd, white peach, and almond biscotti emerge, under-laid by wet stone and saline finish. The texture is elegant, mid-bodied yet with great clarity and poise. The finish is long, mineral-driven, and very dry — true to its Brut Nature identity.

    Food Pairing & Service
    Serve this wine chilled to around 10–11 °C (50–52 °F) in a tulip-shaped sparkling wine glass so the fine bubbles and aromas can fully express. Because of its precision and minerality, it pairs beautifully with refined seafood dishes such as oysters on the half shell, scallops with beurre blanc, or sea bass in a salt crust. It also works well with delicate white meats like veal tartare with ginger and lemon.
